Grove Lodge Holiday Homes are a cluster of riverside holiday homes a few minutes’ walk from Killorglin town in County Kerry.
These ideally located holiday homes are only a 20-minute drive from two magnificent sandy beaches, Rossbeigh Strand on the Iveragh Peninsula and Inch Strand on the Dingle Peninsula. Set in a peaceful and scenic area along the perimeter of the majestic River Laune which flows from Lough Leane, one of the Lakes of Killarney and empties into the sea, first at Castlemaine harbour beside the river Maine and then out through Dingle Bay. Our beautiful 2-bedroom holiday homes are all located on the ground level. Property layout – Ground floor: - Open plan kitchen with TASSIMO Vivy coffee machine - Dining & Living area - Bedroom 1: double sleeping 2 - Bedroom 2: triple ensuite sleeping 3 - Family bathroom with bath & shower There is under floor heating throughout providing excellent comfort all year round. There is a large public playground in the centre of Killorglin. Wifi is available at the property. Local Area & Tourist AttractionsOur riverside holiday homes in Killorglin are a short walk from the vibrant market town boasting excellent restaurants, pubs, shops and cafes. Things to do in the local area: - Golfing: Dook’s Links Course - Glenbeigh Village - Castlemaine Harbour - Dingle town - Killarney town - Kenmare town - Skellig Michael Island - Killarney National Park - Muckross House Gardens & Traditional Farm - Glenbeigh Racing Festival in August IMPORTANT NOTES1. Heating and Electricity: This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner.
In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid.
We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking. 2. Security Deposit: A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner.
This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival.
In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property. 3. Towels: Towel sets are available upon request at a small charge.

Ideal base for the purpose of our visit. The apartment overlooked the river Laune with a backdrop of the Kerry mountains.
There were no instructions at the premises (heating, hot water, refuse etc) and there was only a very limited amount of utensils in the kitchen.

Emplacement parfait à proximité du petit centre ville bien desservie, de nombreux restaurants, supermarché proche. Par contre, manque de vaisselle (pas assez de verres, de fourchettes pour adultes et changer les casseroles et les poêles) propreté moyenne.
