A garden of olive trees, a terrace with a breathtaking view and tradition are the strong points of our Torretta sea and the city, where you can spend relaxing evenings, pervaded by the scent of the surrounding countryside and enhanced by beautiful starry skies.
The house is housed in an old turret, which was used as a defence against enemy attacks between 1500 and 1600.
It is located next to our Sea and the City apartment, with which it shares the exterior, including parking, barbecue and the terrace; in particular, the terrace spaces are divided by flower boxes that delimit the spaces assigned to the different structures. However, access from the terrace is independent.
An excellent solution for those travelling in groups!
The cottage is on two levels: on the ground floor you will find a living area with sofa bed, TV and wardrobe and a bathroom with shower. On floor 1 there is a single room with a double bed and a kitchenette, dining table and chairs.
From this room you have access to the terrace, furnished with table and chairs and deck chairs for your relaxation.
The terrace enjoys a breathtaking view of the plain of monumental olive trees and the sea on one side, and of Ostuni's historic centre on the other; in fact, the structure is located immediately below the town walls.
*Guests can use a free parking space in the structure's private car park. Not suitable for camper vans.
We also offer our guests authentic experiences to live in contact with the locals. If interested, contact us and we will be happy to help you create your perfect holiday discovering the beauty of Italy.
Ostuni, known to the world as the White City, is the pearl of the Itria Valley. Its historic centre, blindingly white and immense, culminates in the Cathedral (10 minutes from the flat) that impetuously dominates the plain of olive trees, the coastal dune park and a crystal-clear sea. Characteristic are its alleyways, the Piazza della Libertà (230 metres away) and the column of S. Oronzo that majestically protects the town.
Its countryside extends into the heart of the Valle d'Itria. A few km away is Ceglie Messapica, a centre of tradition and enogastronomy, Cisternino, a village recognised as one of the most beautiful in Italy, Alberobello whose famous trulli have been a world heritage site since 1996. About 30 km to the north we find the Egnazia Archaeological Park, Monopoli and Polignano a Mare, ancient fishing villages with a charming historic centre and beautiful beaches. To the north (80 km) we find Bari, the gateway to the East, while moving south we first encounter the Torre Guaceto nature reserve, then Brindisi to reach Lecce, the capital of Baroque. Moving westwards there is Taranto, the heart of Magna Graecia and finally Matera, characteristic for its sassi and European capital of culture.
The nearest airports and ports are Brindisi (30 minutes) and Bari (60 minutes).
