Gelting is a recognised Kneipp health resort with shopping facilities, doctors, pharmacies and sights. It is 2 km from the holiday home to Gelting, which can be easily reached by bike on cycle paths. Not far away are Kappeln, Glücksburg (Glücksburg moated castle) and Flensburg (museum harbour). The holiday home is built of wood and has panoramic windows and wood-panelled interior walls/roof slopes. The floor is made of oiled floorboards. The furnishings are cosy. There is a wood-burning stove in the large living room (can be heated with wood/wood briquettes). In the kitchen there is an extra large fridge with a large separate freezer compartment. There is a sauna in the bathroom. Electric heating in every room and underfloor heating in the bathroom.
