Start your discovery or hiking tour in the Harz National Park and experience the newly emerging wilderness with all its facets. Experience nature, action, sport and relaxation during your holiday in the "kleine Freiheit".
It is only a few minutes' walk from the Bocksberg cable car and the chairlift.

Nearby are: playground with water slide directly in the spa park in front of the house, water playground at the upper raft pond (approx. 2.5 km), mini golf course, wooden stick church, love bench, Kuttelbacher pond (bathing lake with boat hire), all within easy walking distance, mountain town Lautenthal, NSG Johanneser Bergwiesen and Waldseebad approx. 5 km, Gowische Park Wolfshagen, mine with mine railway in Rammelsberg approx. 6 km and much more.

Shopping facilities: Rewe, Aldi, Lidl etc.are in Clausthal Zellerfeld about 8 km away.
Other than that, there is a small Tante Enso supermarket in Hahnenklee with limited opening hours a little after the pedestrian zone on the left-hand side.

Restaurants & Cafés: 1894 Bistro &Bar, Bar Café Baronesse. Restaurant China Town and Restaurant Piccolo Mondo are only a few minutes' walk away as well as the Schoko am Kreuzeck (very nice view down by the lake.)
The Schnitzelkönig is located in Lautenthal (possibly with advance booking)

Top attractions: Kaiserpfalz, Mönchehaus museum for modern art, clock museum and stalactite cave in Bad Grund, a tin figure museum 19 km.
Ski lifts, Bocksberg cable car, chairlift, summer toboggan runs and mountain bike descents, as well as various reservoirs, hiking trails, hiking trails, hiking trails and a mountain railway.

Public transport: bus and train
If you use the bus transport in Hahnenklee, please find out whether it is discounted or even free with the visitor's tax.

General information: The Parkstraße is currently being renovated until the end of 2025 and there may be restrictions. The entrance to the car park in the backyard of the house is on the right, directly at the end of the long side of the building.

Important !!! Due to planned road renovation work on Poststrasse, there may be construction noise on weekdays in spring 2026. The travel price has been adjusted and reduced as a result.

The balcony offers a panoramic view directly of the Kranichsee and indirectly even of the Bocksberg.
There is a bicycle storage room in the building.

Children of all ages are very welcome here.
For the little ones we offer an optional baby cot,
as well as a high chair for additional booking.

Tourist tax:
The guest contribution per night per person from the
18th year of age: 3.00 euros and from 6 to 17 years: 1.50 euros.
Toddlers are exempt from tourist taxes up to the age of 6.

1 dog (single) is allowed and also welcome,
as long as it can behave itself.
Please note that the advert may state that pets are allowed (plural).
This is not intended as a number, but only indicates that one
animal is allowed in the flat.
However, an additional surcharge for final cleaning dog must then be booked.
