For the less energetic, just sit back and relax and watch the ever changing, stunning scenery from the cottage windows.

Cottage was clean and tidy. However my daughter runs a glamping cabin and comparing herons rest to her facility it doesn’t compare. We were disappointed there was no milk or biscuits , or just a little something to welcome us!She offers lots of extras even for one nighters!Maybe something to bear in mind

Heron's Rest is a lovely retreat away from it all. The local shop is great, as is the coffee shop which welcomed us and our dog in with open arms. A perfect stopping point on a dog walk!A minute on Google Maps and it was easy to know where the final turn into the drive is - the gates are much needed...
