Welcome to the rooftops of Carcassonne! You'll love the breathtaking view over the Cité de Carcassonne and the city centre. Situated in the heart of the historic centre of Carcassonne, this flat is ideally located so you can do everything without taking the car. You'll find all the shops you need on site (restaurants, bakeries, grocery shops and other shops), and the gîte is located right next to the Tourist Office. For leisure activities, the theatre and cinema are just a stone's throw away. In summer, during the Festival de la Cité, free concerts are held in Place Carnot and Square André Chénier. The train station and the Canal du Midi are just 8 minutes' walk away, and other transport links (bus routes) are also in the immediate vicinity. The Cité de Carcassonne is a 20-minute walk away, and the banks of the River Aude are 6 minutes away, where you can enjoy some lovely walks. If you wish, you can leave your belongings in the luggage room located in the same building so that you can walk around in peace during the day when you arrive or leave. Due to the health protocol linked to Covid19, end-of-stay cleaning at €30 is included in the price.

Arriving in the town centre from Square Gambetta, head west on Square Gambetta/N113 towards Boulevard Jean Jaurès, turn slightly left onto Rue de Verdun, continue straight on the gîte will be on your right with a large brown entrance door to the right of the pharmacy.
