A stunning, detached cottage situated in the village of Elgol, in a fabulously elevated location, in the southeast corner of the beautiful Isle of Skye.

On the ground floor level of this Skye cottage, there is a stylish kitchen, with a breakfast bar, well-equipped and perfect for preparing delicious home-cooked meals.

The cottage has two king-size double rooms and a twin room, all with en-suite facilities, along with a separate shower room. There is also a kitchen, and a dining room, a snug and a sitting room with a woodburning stove and French doors to a balcony with bench seating three and views to the harbour, on the mezzanine level. Outside, there is plenty of roadside parking available and a short walk down to the harbour. Askival is a wonderful family holiday base for exploring this sensational Scottish island, all year round. Askival at Elgol never fails to be the best property and best holiday we have stayed in. It is spacious, cosy and very well equipped for all our needs. This is our 6th year here and it feels like a home from home. The views across to the islands are beautiful and Elgol have some nice walks over the cliffs and around the pretty harbour.

Lovely house in Elgol. Beautiful views. Great location for some peace and quiet.
Great bedrooms and ensuites, well stocked kitchen with pans, bowls, glasses, cutlery etc. Comfy lounge, a warm house with lots of hot water.
Highly recommend. Welcoming village. Boat trips from the village, cafe open in the community hall. Hilly area so prepare to work those leg muscles.
