An Art Nouveau flat a stone's throw from Piazza Dante in the centre of Naples.
The flat is located on the third floor of a historic palazzo where, on 05 December 1861, Baroness Irene Cecconi gave birth to her first-born son Armando Diaz, a general whose name is linked to the famous Italian victory in the war against Austria-Hungary.
Characterised by high ceilings with exposed beams, the accommodation consists of a living area with dining table, TV and an open kitchen equipped with amenities such as an oven and kettle, and a sleeping area with a large bedroom with a double bed and a single sofa bed. The layout is completed by a fully renovated bathroom with a large shower cubicle.
Comforts such as a washing machine, free wifi, air conditioning in the bedroom and heating will be at guests' disposal.
We also offer our guests authentic experiences to live in contact with the locals. If interested, contact us and we will be happy to help you create your perfect holiday discovering the beauty of Italy.
"When you go to Naples you cry twice: when you arrive and when you leave," they say. Naples is a unique city, to be experienced walking through the alleys, smelling the scent of gastronomic delicacies in the air and admiring its rich artistic and monumental heritage.
Naples has a distinctive culinary tradition for its famous Neapolitan pizza, and the art of its pizza makers has been declared an intangible heritage of humanity by UNESCO.
Strolling through Spaccanapoli, the street that cuts the city in half, one traverses its thousand-year history thanks to the presence of ancient palaces and churches, such as the Duomo di Napoli and the Maschio Angioino. If there is a symbolic place in Naples, it is Piazza del Plebiscito, now a symbol of the new 'Neapolitan Renaissance' where tourists come to admire its grandeur and two jewels: the neoclassical colonnade of the church of San Francesco di Paola and the Royal Palace. Today it is also possible to visit 'the underground city', or the so-called 'belly of Naples', which served the Neapolitans as a refuge during the bombing raids, where tourists can walk through the Greco-Roman aqueduct, the air-raid shelters and finally visit the War Museum.
Especially not to be missed is the San Severo Chapel, which houses the sculpture of the Veiled Christ, one of the most fascinating and mysterious works of art to be seen in Naples, the work of Giuseppe Sanmartino.
Napoli Centrale railway station is about 2.5 km from the flat, while the airport can be easily reached in less than 15 minutes by car.
