You can enjoy great views from this home.
The Mediterranean beach and sea welcome you to Montenegro, 400 meters from the beach.
This accommodation offers free Wi-Fi, a smart TV, free parking, and an air-conditioned pool. The spacious 3-room apartment, completed in 2023, is modernly designed and offers a fascinating panoramic view of the harbor, the sea, and the city. In the living and dining room, the couch with a sleeping function can be extended for guests 5, 6, 7, with a dining table for 6 chairs, and garden furniture on the large balcony. The open kitchen is newly equipped with a stove, fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster, and of course, dishes and cutlery for 8 guests. The beds in the two bedrooms, each with a desk and closet, can be converted from double beds to single beds with a few simple steps. The bathroom is equipped with a vanity, toilet, and a walk-in rain shower with a sea view. Free parking is available on the property. Recommended Day Trips Skadar Lake (also Lake Scutari): The small village of Virpazar is the main attraction of Skadar Lake.
There are a few restaurants and hotels there.
You can take boat tours or kayak tours on the lake.
This is an absolute MUST if you are there.
The restaurant "Restoran Jezero" is located on the other side of the lake.
From there, you have a beautiful view of the lake, and the food is fantastic.
It's not exactly a hidden gem, but a visit is definitely worthwhile. Durmitor National Park: Approximately 2.5 hours by car from Podgorica, in the north of the country.
It is best to look for accommodation near Žabljak (the largest town in the area, with only one supermarket and 4-5 restaurants). Hike to the Black Lake: Jablan Lake is located in Durmitor National Park.
The trail is about 7 km long and takes around two and a half hours.
Secluded hiking trails await you, where you will encounter at most 2-3 people and a few cows. Ring Road around Durmitor National Park: Similar to Iceland, there is a ring road that runs through the national park with signs for viewpoints everywhere.
Particularly recommended stops are the Tara Canyon, Susicko Lake, and the Prevoj Seldo mountain range.
Even in summer, there is still snow here, creating incredible photo opportunities. Sveti Stefan: Reachable from Kotor in 40 minutes.
The island is divided into a private beach and a public beach.
A day trip is sufficient. Little Niagara Falls: Still relatively unknown but absolutely worth seeing are the Little Niagara Falls near Podgorica.
It's best to enter "Restoran Niagra" on Google Maps to find it. Which Cities Should I Visit in Montenegro? Budva: The old town, situated on a small peninsula, is particularly worth seeing.
Otherwise, Budva and its small pebble beach can be quickly explored.
If you're not into partying, a half-day trip is more than enough. Kotor: Kotor itself has a beautiful old town, famous for its cats.
You should definitely wander through it. A must-do is a hike up to the Kotor Fortress, from which you have a breathtaking view.
Note that it only opens until 8 PM! If you go in the summer, you should definitely go in the morning hours when it's cooler and there are no tourists from the cruise ships yet. It's best to stay overnight along the peninsula leading to Tivat.
Here you'll find small, charming stone houses located right on the water. Tivat and Port of Montenegro: Drive from Kotor to Tivat, always along the coast.
Beautiful little fishing villages await you here.
The Port of Montenegro itself is definitely worth seeing.
Everything here has been newly and artificially created, with giant yachts and chic hotels awaiting you. Perast: A beautiful small old town from which you can take a ferry to the island of "Our Lady of Rocks." Our Pirate Tip: Also, visit the abandoned pebble beach Velja Spila Beach (approx. 30 min drive from Kotor), as well as the serpentine road to Lovćen National Park.
Very scenic & great views of the Bay of Kotor. How Do I Get from A to B? Airplane: There are no domestic flights in Montenegro, as the country is far too small.
Although there are a few smaller airports, they are currently only intended for private shuttles. Train: There is only one operational railway line in Montenegro.
It runs from the port city of Bar via Podgorica to Belgrade.
One train departs in the morning, and a night train leaves in the evening.
The daytime journey is worthwhile because the route is truly spectacular.
It passes over Skadar Lake, past mountain lakes, and deep canyons.
A real highlight for all train enthusiasts. Bus: The most common mode of transport.
The network is now well-developed, and you can reach almost any location by bus within a few hours.
A bus trip from Podgorica to Kotor, for example, costs around 15 Euros and takes just under 2 hours. Rental Car: This is still probably the best way to explore the country.
Thanks to the short distances and affordable rental cars, you can visit many sights in a short time. - Heated outdoor pool - Underfloor heating - Living and sleeping areas with air conditioning
