You will find all information related to your booking in the Wonderful Italy Guest Area. Charming, rich in history, and authentic: Bari is the capital of Puglia and the most populous city on the Adriatic Sea.
Also known as the "Gateway to the East," the city has a strong mercantile and entrepreneurial tradition and has always been a crucial hub for trade and contact with the Middle East.
The city offers a rich variety of attractions: ancient churches, romantic sea views, historic palaces, relaxing walks along the promenade, and, finally, local gastronomic treasures like orecchiette, focaccia, or panzerotti. The discovery of the city definitely begins in the "Bari Vecchia" area, the oldest nucleus where most of the city's sites of interest are located.
Visiting its historic center is like taking a step back in time.
Walking through the alleys of Bari Vecchia, you'll come across Via Arcobasso, also known as Via Orecchiette, where local ladies prepare fresh local pasta according to ancient recipes.
Among the main attractions are the Basilica of San Nicola, built in the late 11th century, a destination for pilgrimages and a symbol of Catholic and Orthodox culture, and the Norman-Swabian Castle, a legacy of Frederick II of Swabia, located between the sea and the historic center.
Furthermore, numerous Puglian destinations are easily reachable from this city, such as the city of Trani (50 km), with its breathtaking scenery, rich in history and harmonious architectural lines, Castel del Monte (55 km), one of the 54 Italian sites declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Alberobello with its typical trulli (55 km), and Castellana Grotte (45 km).
Heading south, Polignano a Mare, known as the "Pearl of the Adriatic," will leave you speechless with its crystal-clear waters and its rocky cliffs carved by the sea.
The accommodation is less than 3km from the main train station and less than 15km from Bari Airport.

Great apartment located in the centre of Bari old town. Close to many restaurants and amenities. The third floor apartment is spacious and private. The hosts were friendly, communication was great and ensured we had everything we needed.

The room is in a great location, right in the Old Town of Bari. It is right next to beautiful places and restaurants. We were given clear instructions on how to get inside. The room is spacious and air-conditioned. The kitchenette could use more utensils - we found only 3 plastic cups :) Please note that the stairs up to the room are quite steep and there is no lift.
