The family-friendly accommodation is located in the Solmar holiday village in Blanes.
The charming town of Blanes is considered the gateway to the Costa Brava and is only a few kilometers from Lloret de Mar, with its diverse offerings for holidaymakers.
The sea is just a few minutes' walk from the holiday village, making the resort ideal for families with children.
The resort offers all the amenities for an unforgettable family holiday: a pool complex with a large pool for adults and a pool with a slide and water features for the little ones, entertainment and a kids' club, a playground, a supermarket, two restaurants, a bike rental service, and a range of sports and leisure facilities. The studio is located above the resort's supermarket, which is directly opposite the holiday village, and can accommodate a maximum of 4 people (ideally including 1 child up to a maximum of 12 years old).
The studio is available in 2 variations.
Variation 1 is equipped with two sofa beds in the living area.
Variation 2 features a bunk bed in the hallway and a sofa bed in the living area (ideally for 3 adults and 1 child).
Also in the living area is the well-equipped kitchen with dishes, cutlery, pots, a ceramic hob with 2 burners, a microwave, a coffee machine, and a small refrigerator with a freezer compartment.
The bathroom is equipped with a shower, a sink, and a toilet.
The covered balcony with a table and chairs invites you to relax comfortably.
Satellite TV, air conditioning, bed linen, and towels are included.
WiFi is available optionally.
Parking is not included and can only be booked on-site subject to availability (approx. €12/night, as of 2023).
If needed, a "baby pack" consisting of a baby cot, a high chair, and a child's plate can be booked.
Travel time from the Spanish border approx. 1.5 hours.
Note: If you require more than one accommodation, this is usually possible as we have multiple properties of the same type.
ARRIVAL DAY + DURATION OF STAY Please refer to the calendar for arrival and departure days as well as the minimum length of stay during your desired season.
Note: If for any reason you cannot arrive on the scheduled arrival day, check-in on the following day is also possible (please notify us before arrival).
The same applies if you wish to depart earlier.
Departure on the day before is also possible.
However, the rental period/rental price specified for booking remains unchanged.
BEACH The holiday village is located just a few minutes' walk from S’Abanell sandy beach.
This gives you quick and convenient access to the longest and widest of Blanes' 4 beaches.
The beach is very clean and is awarded the Blue Flag by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE).
Umbrellas and sun loungers can be rented on the beach for a relaxing sunbathing experience.
Sports and entertainment are also provided: animation and various (water) sports activities such as kayaking, windsurfing, diving, water skiing, fishing, boat trips, canoeing, or fitness equipment along the promenade make the hours fly by.
A playground is also available for children.
Small refreshments can be found at one of the many beach kiosks.
Lifeguards ensure your safety during the swimming season.
POOL The cool water in the beautiful pool complex attracts young and old.
In addition to the large adult pool, a children's pool with a slide and water features has been available since 2019, bringing joy to children's eyes.
Free loungers and umbrellas are available around the pools for relaxation.
Those who prefer a more active experience can take advantage of activities such as aqua aerobics, offered by the animation team.
After so much activity, a small snack at the pool complex restaurant is just the thing.
A lifeguard ensures your safety throughout the season.

For children aged 4 to 12, crafts, various workshops, face painting, magic shows, games, and a mini-disco are offered in the kids' club.
For children aged 12 and over, various sports tournaments such as football, basketball, volleyball, or pétanque are organized.
Two playgrounds are available for children.
Adults can keep fit with aqua aerobics, Zumba, salsa, or merengue.
For those who don't want to fall into bed tired after a long day, there is excellent evening entertainment with live music, disco, magic shows, and dancing.
LEISURE AND SPORTS The holiday resort has a tennis court and two paddle tennis courts (both for a fee), an artificial turf football pitch, a sports field (for basketball, volleyball, etc.), table tennis tables, and pétanque courts.
Various water sports such as windsurfing, diving, kayaking, or sailing can be enjoyed on the beach.
With sports courses organized by the animation team, such as Zumba, aqua aerobics, or salsa, boredom is not an option.
Bike rental is also available.
SHOPPING The holiday resort has its own supermarket, located directly opposite the holiday village.
A wide range of everyday items, fruits and vegetables, bread, frozen products, drinks, wines and spirits, as well as camping supplies are available.
CATERING The accommodation features a well-equipped kitchen with dishes, cutlery, pots, a ceramic hob, a microwave, a coffee machine, and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment.
Shopping facilities are also nearby.
For those who prefer not to cook on holiday, the two restaurants offer dining options.
The restaurant at the entrance offers a daily menu, tapas, and simple dishes.
At the pool complex restaurant, you can enjoy pizzas, pasta, tapas, and many other dishes, among other things.

LOCATION
The holiday village is located in the lively town of Blanes, on the southern Costa Brava. The beach is only a few minutes' walk away, making the resort ideal for families with children. The former fishing town of Blanes offers a variety of shopping opportunities and a wide range of gastronomic options to suit all tastes. Another highlight in Blanes is the Marimurtra Botanical Garden, considered the most beautiful Mediterranean botanical garden in Europe. Lloret de Mar can be reached by car from Blanes in just a few minutes.
PLACE AND SURROUNDINGS
Blanes is a beautiful seaside resort in a typical Catalan style. It is the southernmost town on the Costa Brava and is therefore considered the gateway to the Costa Brava. Thanks to this great location, Blanes is the ideal starting point for exploring both the wild, rugged Costa Brava and the Costa de Barcelona with its long sandy beaches. Picturesque fishing villages, delicious food, steep cliffs, beautiful beaches, crystal-clear water, and of course the sun make the Costa Brava (Catalonia's rugged, wild coast) a popular holiday destination. Everyone will find something to enjoy on the Costa Brava. Not only sunbathers, but also party lovers, hikers, mountain bikers, and culture enthusiasts will find everything their heart desires here. The nightlife is also excellent! Blanes can be perfectly discovered with a shopping stroll and a walk along the beautiful beach promenade. If you get hungry, countless restaurants with local specialties, international cuisine, or freshly caught fish directly from the market await you. The two beautiful botanical gardens in Blanes are ideal for relaxing your soul with a wonderful view of the sea. In July, the International Fireworks Competition of the Costa Brava takes place in Blanes. Let yourself be enchanted by the sparkle in the sky. You can find great souvenirs at the weekly market in Blanes, which takes place every Monday along the beach promenade. From Monday to Saturday, a large fruit and vegetable market is also held daily in the center of the resort, where you can buy delicious fresh produce. Blanes is ideally located for excursions in the surrounding area and beyond. Near Santa Susanna, the Activ Natura Park awaits adventure seekers: here you can test your skills in a beautiful shady forest in the climbing park. For the adventurous, quad, motorcycle, and mountain bike tours, as well as laser combat and archery, are also offered here. Water lovers will get their money's worth in this area: two water parks are located in the immediate vicinity. Marineland can be reached by car in less than fifteen minutes. In addition to a variety of slides and water games, you can admire dolphins and sea lions in exciting shows here. In Lloret de Mar, Water World offers top entertainment. This water park is one of the largest in Europe and offers a wide range of water attractions for all ages. With numerous slides, soft slides, fast water channels, the breathtaking kamikaze slide, and the wave pool, boredom is impossible. For the little ones, there is a quieter area with a children's paddling pool, water games, and a great pirate ship. For those interested in the country's culture, Lloret de Mar also has something to offer. Built in the Catalan Art Nouveau style, the church of Sant Romà, consecrated in 1522, impresses locals and visitors alike. Once built to protect against pirates, the church was rebuilt in the 19th century by "Indianos" in its current style. One of the scenic highlights in Lloret de Mar is the Santa Clotilde Gardens, a breathtaking park on the cliffs with a unique view over the sea. The Italian Renaissance style can be admired in many places here, and the small ponds and fountains complete the romantic atmosphere. Terraces, bridges, and sculptures, nestled amidst beautiful flowerbeds, shrubs, hedges, and all sorts of greenery, provide a relaxing excursion. In the evening, Lloret de Mar transforms into a vibrant party scene and can be wholeheartedly recommended for lovers of nightlife. We also recommend Barcelona for a day trip. The vibrant metropolis captivates visitors with its countless attractions, a wide range of gastronomic offerings, and numerous shopping opportunities. Stroll along Las Ramblas, enjoy the magnificent view of the city and the sea from Montjuïc hill (reachable by cable car), or explore Park Güell, designed by Antoni Gaudí. While walking through the city, you will repeatedly discover Gaudí's unique architecture, and of course, a visit to the city's landmark, the Sagrada Familia, should not be missed. This cathedral, begun by Gaudí, is still under construction and offers the astonished eye an impressive variety of details and architectural styles. At Barcelona Zoo, not only children's eyes light up when observing the many animal species. Lions, tigers, elephants, gorillas, dolphins, and much more can be discovered here.
