The Fjellspurven (mountain place) is 800 metres away. In winter you can go directly to the cross-country ski trail and the ski lift is only 500 metres away. In summer, the 85 square metre veranda offers plenty of time to relax. The area is ideal for hiking, fishing, swimming.....

Our Norwegian mountain hut is a dream come true for us as a family.
We fell in love with the small village of Vrådal back in 2017. In spring 2021, our Fjellspurven (Norwegian for mountain sparrow) was completed. The cabin is located at an altitude of approx. 800 metres in a cul-de-sac with a wonderful view of Lake Nisser, Vravatn and the small village of Vrådal. The cross-country ski trail runs behind the wooden house and the ski lift is approx. 500 metres away, which can be reached directly from the cabin in good snow conditions.
Ground floor:
The cabin has underfloor heating. In the living area with open-plan kitchen and stove there is 1 bedroom with a 1.80m wide box-spring bed. A door leads from the bedroom and living area to the 85 square metre terrace surrounding the hut. From here you can admire the magnificent sunsets and sunrises. You can always find a spot in the sun or shade. The bathroom with shower and washbasin adjoins the 4-person sauna with a door.
You have a large kitchenette with extensive equipment at your disposal: fridge/freezer combination, induction hob, dishwasher, oven, hand blender, hand mixer.
Upper floor:
Two bedrooms are located on the upper floor. In one bedroom with a panoramic view of the valley to Lake Nisser and Lake Vråvatn there are also two box spring beds 0.90 m x 2.00 m, which can be placed as desired, together as a double bed or individually. In the 2nd bedroom there are two box-spring beds 0.80m x 2.00m, which can also be placed as desired. Both bedrooms are connected by a small corridor, which also has a small guest WC.
Directly adjacent to the hut is a spacious storage room containing a hoover, microwave and washing machine. Wood for the stove is also stored there. A sledge, 2 snow slides and 2 pairs of snowshoes are available for use.
Free, fast WLAN, satellite TV, Sonos box, electricity and wood for the stove are included in the final price.

Surroundings:
In winter, Vrådal offers 8 lifts and 18 pistes in a snow-sure winter sports paradise. The slopes are open from mid-November to the beginning of April. There is something here for winter sports enthusiasts of all levels.
Whether downhill skiing, tobogganing or longboarding, the ski area offers everything in a very attractive setting.
Cross-country skiing enthusiasts can look forward to 40 kilometres of well-developed trails.
Ski school, snow park and horse-drawn sleighs….there is something for everyone.
In summer, the wonderful nature in Vradal invites you to experience the mountains, the forest or the nearby Lake Nisser. Children can let off steam in the playgrounds and skating rink, and fishing fans can also enjoy themselves. There is a supermarket in the village of Vradal where you can buy all your provisions. But there are also plenty of experiences to be had, such as a trip on the historic steamer M/S Fram on the Nisser and a golf course.
Vradal is also conveniently located close to many other exciting places in southern and eastern Norway, making it an ideal starting point for excursions to natural and cultural attractions in the surrounding area.

You can hire kayaks, canoes and subs at the tourist information centre in Vradal.
