This area is loved by hikers and known for its charming vineyard cottages and famous Cviček wine.

There is a network of marked footpaths (of varying difficulty) and cycle paths across the landscape and a golf club (Golf Grad Otočec) a 15-minute drive away. The accommodation is a 12-minute drive from Novo Mesto’s historic Old Town (Stari trg) where visitors can explore historic landmarks including the Franciscan Monastery and the Dolenjska Museum.
