This charming, air-conditioned villa has a lovely private terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue to liven up your meals in the summer months while soaking up the southern sunshine. There are many lovely walks and cycle rides along the Canal du Midi. Its immediate proximity to the town centre means you can take advantage of all the entertainment on offer during the summer season and throughout the year (concerts, theatre, local festivals, etc.). If you fancy a refreshing swim, there are two places to go: the Lac de la Cavayère or the Pôle Aqualudique, both in Carcassonne, 10 minutes from the gîte. Villa Tamaris offers comfort and space throughout your stay, with the added bonus of a beautiful view of the Cité de Carcassonne from the living room, where you can see it in all its glory, including during the fireworks on 14 July! The air-conditioned gîte opens onto a corridor leading to a large living room with a lovely open-plan, fully-equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, fridge with freezer, etc.), dining table and lounge area with sofas and connected TV. The first bedroom has a queen-size bed (160cm). A second bedroom with a 140cm bed and a third bedroom with two 90cm beds.
