You can visit all the treasures of Carcassonne on foot or by car! Must-see sites around Carcassonne are available to you: magnificent natural landscapes of the Montagne Noire, beautiful Aude villages (Lagrasse, Montolieu, Caunes-Minervois...), the Cathar castles of Saissac and Lastours, or the Massif de l'Alaric.
The sea is 50 minutes away.
On-site, the cottage features a private, buried, and secure wooden swimming pool with a depth of 1.17 meters, ideal for cooling off during the warm season, as well as a fenced garden with a terrace area equipped with garden furniture and a barbecue to fully enjoy your meals.

A second terrace is located at the back of the cottage.
For parking your car, you can easily find a spot in front of the cottage or in the street.
This air-conditioned, single-story cottage opens onto a hallway leading to the independent and fully equipped kitchen with a dining table, and a living room with a sofa and smart TV.
There is a separate bathroom (shower, sink, and toilet).
The first bedroom has a 160 cm bed, and the second bedroom has two 90 cm beds that can be pushed together.
At the end of the hallway, there is direct access to a second terrace.
Sheets, towels, and end-of-stay cleaning are included.
Full baby equipment available on request.

We had a great time at la charmante! The city and old town are at walking distance. Nice swimmingpool, nice little space at the back of the house where we enjoyed the last rays of sun. Inside the sitting erea was nice aswell. Perfect working shower. If I had to fault anything, it was that the bed sqeeks a little bit.

Everything was fine. We didn't ever see the owner in person since they work with a combination keybox system. The weather was windy and cool so we didn't use the pool at all in the end. We would have liked to see the owner in-person rather than the keybox arrangement - a more personal touch would have been welcome. That said, the owner did answer every question rapidly via WhatsApp.
