Within the municipality there are four different areas: Playa de las Américas, Playa de los Cristianos (where the flat is located), Playa de Las Galletas-Costa del Silencio and Arona Rural. To visit Playa de los Cristianos is to go deep into a seafaring atmosphere that blends in with the city. This urban beach is one of the first to be reached by tourists in the 1960s.
