Located just 2 miles from the Duddon Estuary, in a peaceful corner of Cumbria, this lodge has stunning views across the golf course to the estuary beyond. The cedar wood lodge is furnished and equipped with luxury and relaxation in mind. Enjoy romantic meals at the dining table, positioned in front of the patio doors, couples can gaze out to the sea. With its own private patio area, garden and gazebo housing the hot tub lazy sunny days can be enjoyed admiring the view which stretches to the estuary on one side and the Lake District fells to the other. Leisurely beach walks are all within a short drive and for the more adventurous the Lake District National Park is within 10 miles. Coniston Water and Coniston Old Man are both 14 miles away and the doorway to popular tourist destinations within the Lake District.
The lodge is accessed via 5 steps but once inside is all on one level. The open plan living area is flooded with natural light and views to the estuary and Lakeland fells. A comfy L shaped sofa positioned in front of the TV and wood burning stove is designed for snuggling on chilly evenings whilst catching up with the latest TV programs. The dining table is positioned in front of bi folding doors which open up onto the terrace and giving uninterrupted breath taking estuary views. The kitchen area is equipped for preparing mouthwatering meals with electric oven and hob, fridge with freezer compartment and microwave. The spacious bedroom with walk in wardrobe and comfy king size bed is perfect for leisurely mornings enjoying a cuppa in bed before freshening up in the en-suite shower room with double vanity unit and door leading to the hot tub. Linger over lunch at the outside dining table on the terrace with views across the golf course to the estuary and to the Lake District fells.
The lodge has electric heating and initial supply of logs and kindling for the wood burner included. Bed linen, towels and bathrobes provided. Private parking for 1 car. Terrace with stunning views over rolling countryside and hot tub.

What an amazing time we had at this lodge. The area was fantastic and just a short drive away from the Lakes. We were also blessed with lovely sunny weather.\r\nThere was nothing to complain about with the lodge. Beautiful inside, very well equipped and the sofa and bed were really comfortable. The hot tub was a very welcome asset after our days out.
