You will find quite a few local shops, restaurants and pubs close to the apartment. Great location. Retrieving the key was a pain. Would make better sense to store luggage at the same place you pick up the key at the train station because it is close to the apartment. Radical storage place was very kind but not convenient.

Overall, the location is great. Not far from the train station, and on the quiet end of the royal mile. The place is good sized and clean. The only real complaint is that it is listed as sleeping 5, with two beds and a couch bed, but unless you read the fine print at the end of the listing you miss ...

Property was easy to find and was what we expected. However the garage entry was broken therefore we could park in there which made to difficult.
