The Crannach is a converted shepherds cottage of historical interest which has recently been modernised to a high standard.
The adjoining byre is now a large open kitchen, dining room and sitting room, with a wide double door leading onto a stone terrace.
The property is on the Glenfernate estate, about a mile and a half from the A924 up a private tarmacked road.
It faces South-West with a terrific view, and is on the edge of the Grampian mountains.
The Cairngorms National Park starts a mile further up the glen, and Beinn a’ Ghlo (a ‘Munro’ of over 3000 ft.) can be seen from the Crannach.
All the power to the property comes from a hydro electric scheme nearby. The Crannach is a charming split-level lodge situated in the serene Glenfernate, Perth and Kinross, near the breathtaking Cairngorms National Park.

The bedrooms consist of a lower-ground-floor super-king-size, double, lower-ground-floor twin, and twin serviced by a bathroom and a shower room. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with lawn, patio and off-road parking for two cars. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome.
