Meadow Island Caravan is a well-kept retreat nestled near the breathtaking landscapes of Eryri National Park, between Carmel and Rhosgadfan, Gwynedd.
Surrounded by nature and with a designated parking space just outside, this traditional single-storey caravan offers a peaceful base for families or groups of friends looking to reconnect with the outdoors.
Two well-behaved pets are welcome to join the adventure, making it a true home-from-home for all. Accessed over a bridge onto the partially-moated grounds of Ynys Y Weirglodd, Meadow Island Caravan has three compact bedrooms thoughtfully arranged to offer comfort and rest.
There are two doubles and a twin room, each designed to make settling in easy, whether you're returning from a coastal walk or a mountain trail.
The bathroom provides a practical space to start or end your day, with a small bath and shower over, basin, towel rail, and soft lighting that invites you to pause and refresh.
A separate cloakroom with basin and WC ensures mornings run smoothly, even with a full house.
At the heart of the caravan lies the open-plan living area, where the kitchen flows into the dining and sitting spaces, with distant sea views.
After dinner, retreat to the built-in corner sofa and unwind in front of the Smart TV, warmed by the gentle glow of the electric log burner.
Whether it’s a quiet evening or a rainy afternoon, this space offers comfort and calm.
Just outside, a separate utility area houses a washing machine and freezer—ideal for longer stays or muddy boots.
Step into the enclosed garden and you’ll find a patio with countryside views and a clear stream running close by, a tranquil spot for morning coffee or an evening drink as the light fades over the hills.
Beyond the garden gate, the region’s rich heritage and natural beauty await.
Caernarfon Castle stands proudly nearby, its medieval walls echoing centuries of royal history.
At the National Slate Museum, discover the story of Wales’ industrial past through live demonstrations and immersive exhibits.
For a day of family fun, head to the Anglesey Sea Zoo, where British marine wildlife and conservation efforts come to life in engaging displays.
Whether you're drawn to dramatic coastlines, historic landmarks, or the quiet joy of a countryside view, Meadow Island Caravan offers a memorable escape to the Welsh coast and is an ideal base for walkers to explore the local spiderweb of quarryman's trails and the beautiful Snowdonia National Park.

The caravan was clean and welcoming, and the hosts were very friendly, emailing before hand to offer directions and offer to set the heating for us if we were arriving late.
