I cannot log into my Holidu account, what do I do?
If you're having trouble logging into your Holidu account, don't worry. Follow these steps to regain access and get back to browsing vacation rentals.
Create a Holidu Account (for Guests)
An important first step: a Holidu account is not automatically created when you make a reservation. You must set it up yourself to access your bookings and manage your account.
To create an account as a guest:
- Go to holidu.com
- Click Account in the top right corner
- Select Log in for guests from the dropdown menu
- On the login page, choose one of the following options:
- Continue with Google, Apple, Facebook, or Microsoft
- Select Continue with E-mail to create an account using your email address
- Follow the prompts to complete the setup
Once your account is created, you can link any existing reservations by entering your last name and booking code. This allows you to view your past and upcoming bookings in your account dashboard.
Check for Typos
One of the most common login issues is simple typing errors. Before trying other solutions, carefully verify your login credentials.
Pay special attention to:
- Your email address spelling and format
- Capital letters in your password (passwords are case-sensitive)
- Extra spaces before or after your email address or password
- Numbers that might look like letters (0 vs O, 1 vs l)
Even a single character out of place will prevent you from logging in. Take your time to double-check each character before clicking the login button.
Forgot Password
If you've forgotten your password, you can easily reset it in just a few steps.
To reset your password:
- Go to holidu.com and click Account in the top right corner
- Select Log in for guests
- Click Forgot Password on the login page
- Enter the email address associated with your Holidu account
- Check your email inbox for a password reset link from Holidu
- Click the link in the email and follow the instructions to create a new password
- Once you've set your new password, return to the login page and try logging in again
If you don't see the password reset email, check your spam or junk folder. Sometimes reset emails can be filtered there.
Make sure your new password is strong and unique, containing a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters when possible.
