How to activate or deactivate Holidu Protect

Holidu Protect is a flexible property protection feature that you can activate or deactivate individually for each of your properties. This guide will walk you through the simple steps to enable or disable Holidu Protect for your holiday home.

How to activate Holidu Protect

Follow these steps to activate Holidu Protect for your property:

Step 1: Access your property configuration

Log in to your Holidu Host account and navigate to the property configuration of the holiday home you want to protect.

Step 2: Navigate to Pricing & Protection

In the property settings, click on Pricing & Protection. Then, locate the section labeled "Protect your Property" and click the Configure button.

Step 3: Review and accept terms

Read through the Holidu Protect information carefully. To proceed with activation, you must accept the Terms & Conditions by checking the required box.

Step 4: Activate Holidu Protect

Click the Activate Holidu Protect button. You will receive a confirmation message indicating that Holidu Protect has been activated successfully.

What happens after activation

Once you have confirmed the activation, Holidu Protect becomes immediately active for all future bookings at that property. If you have security deposits currently in place, they will be automatically deactivated when Holidu Protect is activated.

How to deactivate Holidu Protect

If you need to deactivate Holidu Protect for any reason, you can do so at any time by following the same steps above and selecting the deactivate option instead.
