How to Activate or Deactivate Holidu Protect

Holidu Protect offers you flexible, property-by-property security and peace of mind for your holiday rental. You can activate or deactivate this protection at any time directly from your Holidu Host account. Follow the steps below to get started.

Activating Holidu Protect

Holidu Protect can be activated individually for each of your properties. Here's how to enable it:

Step 1: Access Your Property Configuration

Log in to your Holidu Host account and navigate to the property configuration of the holiday home you want to protect.

Step 2: Navigate to Pricing & Protection

In the property settings, click on Pricing & Protection. Then, locate the section labeled "Protect your Property" and click the Configure button.

Step 3: Review Terms & Conditions

Read through the information about Holidu Protect carefully. Review all details to understand what protection is being offered for your property and guests.

Accept the Terms & Conditions by clicking the acceptance button.

Step 4: Activate Holidu Protect

Click on the Activate Holidu Protect button. Once activated, you will see a confirmation message indicating that Holidu Protect has been successfully activated for your property.

What Happens After Activation

Once you confirm the activation, Holidu Protect becomes immediately active for all future bookings at that property. Please note that if you have security deposits in place, they will be deactivated upon activating Holidu Protect.

Deactivating Holidu Protect

You have full flexibility to deactivate Holidu Protect at any time by following the same steps above and selecting the deactivate option when you reach the Pricing & Protection settings.
