If you're a holiday rental host in Italy, you're legally required to report guest information to the local police within 24 hours of arrival. Holidu makes this process simpler by allowing you to connect your property directly to Alloggiati Web, the official portal managed by the Italian State Police. This guide will walk you through the steps to set up this integration.

Why You Need to Connect to Alloggiati Web

Under Article 109 of the Consolidated Law on Public Security, all accommodation providers in Italy—including short-term rental hosts—must report guest information electronically via the Alloggiati Web portal. By connecting your property through Holidu, you can streamline this mandatory process and reduce the risk of penalties for non-compliance.

What Information You'll Need

Before you start, gather the following credentials from your Alloggiati Web account:

• Your Alloggiati Web username
• Your Alloggiati Web password
• Your Web Service key

How to Find Your Alloggiati Web Credentials

Important: This process must be completed on a computer (PC). The Alloggiati Web platform may not display all options correctly on mobile devices or tablets.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Log into your Alloggiati Web account at the official portal.
2. Click on your account name in the top right corner.
3. Select "Chiave Web service" from the dropdown menu.
4. If you already have a Web Service key, copy and paste it. If not, click "Genera Nuovo Codice" to generate a new one.
5. Save your Web Service key—you'll need it for the Holidu integration.

Important Notes:

• You can only generate one new Web Service key per day.
• Every time you change your password on Alloggiati Web, you must also update the Web Service key in Holidu.

How to Connect Your Property to Alloggiati Web in Holidu

Follow these steps to link your property to Alloggiati Web through the Holidu platform:

Step 1: Access Online Check-in Settings

In your Holidu App, navigate to "Tools" and then select "Online check-in".

Step 2: Select Your Property

You will see a list of your properties. Click "Configure" next to the property you want to connect to Alloggiati Web.

Step 3: Complete the Integration Form

In the configuration form, select the following options:

• Check the box to "Activate automatic sending to an authority"
• Select "Alloggiati Web" as the authority
• Enter your Alloggiati Web username
• Enter your Alloggiati Web password
• Enter your Web Service key
• Click "Validate" to verify your credentials

Step 4: Save Your Changes

Click "Save changes" at the bottom of the form to finalize the connection.

Step 5: Confirm the Connection

If no error message appears after saving, your property is now successfully connected to Alloggiati Web. Close the form and verify that the connection is marked as active.

What Happens After Connection

Once your property is connected, guest data will be automatically transmitted to Alloggiati Web according to the following schedule:

• For one-night stays: Data is transmitted at 11:00 PM on the check-in date.
• For stays of two nights or more: Data is transmitted at 11:00 PM on the day after check-in.

Important Reminders

Mobile App Version: If you are using the Holidu mobile app, ensure you have the latest version installed before attempting to connect to Alloggiati Web.

Password Changes: If you change your password on Alloggiati Web, you must update the Web Service key in Holidu as well. This ensures the connection remains active.

Manual Upload Requirement: While Holidu automates the data collection and validation process, please note that you will still need to manually upload guest details via the Alloggiati Web portal in accordance with Italian regulations.
