Holidu Professional Photography Service
We offer a free professional photography service to help you capture your property in its best light. Please note that this service is only available in Focus Regions. In certain areas, the service may not be available. Availability depends on photographer coverage in the specific geographic area. Additionally, not all properties are automatically eligible for this service.
Our photography team selects and orders professional photos based on channel performance data. Photos taken by Holidu professionals are not reviewed before they go live on your listing, ensuring quick publication to maximize your visibility.
Important Photo Management Considerations
Whether you use professional photos or upload your own, here are key things to know:
- All hosts can fully manage their photo galleries, including those with professional Holidu photos.
- The first photo in your gallery is used as the main display image across partner channels—make it count.
- Gallery order significantly affects booking performance. Use high-quality, well-lit photos for your cover shot and first few images.
- Holidu keeps a backup of all professional photos. If you accidentally delete one, you can contact support to restore it.
- Professional photos are the property of Holidu and are not available for purchase by hosts.
Photo Upload Guidelines
If you're uploading your own photos, follow these guidelines to ensure optimal performance:
- Format Support: Supported formats are JPG, PNG, HEIC/HEIF, WebP, TIFF, and AVIF, within the platform's file-size limits.
- Orientation: Photos must be in landscape orientation.
- Resolution Requirements: Minimum resolution is 1,024 × 768 pixels. Recommended resolution is 2,000 pixels on the long edge for high-quality images.
- Lighting: Use good lighting to capture the best shots of your property.
- Composition: Use wide angles to capture the full scope of your property.
- Quantity: Upload at least 10 photos to give guests a comprehensive view of your property.
- Video Note: Videos are not supported. Images only.
How to Add, Delete, and Reorder Your Gallery
Follow these steps to manage your property photos:
- Log in to your Holidu host account and select the property you want to edit.
- Click the Photos tab in the property navigation bar.
- To add new photos, click Add Photo and upload images from your device. In the Holidu app, you'll need to allow Holidu to access images from your phone first.
- To delete a photo, click on it and select Delete, then confirm your choice. Remember that Holidu keeps a backup of all photos, so deleted images can be restored on request if needed.
- To reorder your photos, click and hold a photo, drag it to the position you want, and drop it in place.
- Click Save Changes after any edit to ensure your updates take effect and are published to your listing.

- Make your first photo visually compelling to attract clicks and engagement.
