You can access the beach only on foot or by boat. You can access it, driving 5 miles through a back road, following the signs to reach Coll Baix and you will reach the picnic area. Then, half an hour down on foot to the bay. But it is worth it, there you will let your mind and your senses wander. By the way, don't forget to bring supplies for the whole day!

Want to explore a bit and enjoy some outdoor adventures? Go hiking in the Tramuntana mountains where you have several hiking trails to walk through the natural landscape and discover hidden caves. This is an official UNESCO World Heritage Site with water mills, dry-stone buildings and typical orange trees. If you are not quite sure about the routes, you can join a guided hike to Talaia de la Victòria. The Natural Park of L’Albufera is also a great spot for birdwatching or the natural area of Victoria, an excellent place for nature lovers to enjoy pleasant walks surrounded by trees and the fantastic Mediterranean breeze.

The old town of Alcúdia is a precious gem in itself. To know it, nothing better than touring the Camí de Ronda, which surrounds the cord of the walls inside, with the possibility of accessing the highest point to enjoy the spectacular views of the town and the Sierra de Tramuntana. Leaving the walls, you can see the Roman city of Pollentia, the Monographic Museum of Pollentia, the church of Sant Jaume, the Town Hall of Alcúdia and numerous casals, the stately houses of Renaissance style decorated with shields.

Barter your way through the stalls at Alcúdia Market either on Sunday or Tuesday morning. The market takes place within the city walls and it is one of the biggest markets in Mallorca. The sellers display all the local products and artisan creations. Try some authentic sobrasada, cheese and olive oil. The locals head to the market to source some fresh veggies, fruit and local produce and now you have the chance to do it too.

The local festivals are big events for both locals and tourists. In late June, it is time to celebrate Saint Peter's festival, in honour of the saint patron, with a week full of activities, music and food. Later on, in July, it is time for Saint James’ celebrations and traditional theme events are arranged in the different streets as well as exhibitions and sport tournaments. The fireworks add a bit of sparkle during the hot summer nights. Mingle with the locals and enjoy the festivals!

It is organised annually on the first weekend of October. This popular festival, which lasts for three days, is organised in honor of the Mallorcan culture. There are several concerts, while the culinary specialties of the region and the local crafts are shown. In addition, horse shows are exhibited, the S'Estol del Rei parade in Jaume is the culmination of the party. For the occasion, the villagers carry giant heads, handcrafted designed to represent characters from the Mallorcan folklore.

Alcudia is located near the central plain of Es Pla. This allows families with children or inexperienced cyclists to know the area without much difficulty. The medieval city of Pollença is a beautiful destination. Immersed in a sea of olive groves, you can access after a small and quiet bike ride through the interior of Mallorca. Mountain biking enthusiasts will feel fulfilled with the relief of the Tramuntana mountain range. After passing through the Cape of Formentor, you will be rewarded for your effort with the stunning views of the cliffs and the Mediterranean Sea!
