Benidorm is surrounded by Sierra Helada Natural Park. The mountains are in a protected natural area. As we said before, Benidorm is well known for its beaches. Playa de Poniente and Playa de Levante are the largest ones with all the services and enjoy a privileged position so the sun caresses their sand until the sun goes down completely. Playa del Mal Pas is a very small cove that divides the two previous ones, near the port Cala Finestrat is a beach for those looking to get away from the crowds and the noise, a couple of miles from the city. The pretty coves of Almadrava and del Tío Ximo are secluded areas mostly known by the locals, the first one being great for snorkelling and nudism and the latter, at the bottom of Sierra Helada, to enjoy some privacy and tranquillity.

Benidorm concentrates a great number of monuments in the Old Town that you must visit during your stay. St. Ana and St. Jaime church, the Castle Square or Benidorm’s Cross. Wander the streets of the Old Town and admire its architecture, find cute cafes and unique shops for a souvenir or two. Discover the charm of this wonderful city through the main landmarks.

Excitement, thrill and endless fun is what you can expect on a day out in this fantastic amusement park. The park is divided in three main areas - Rome, Greece and Egypt. In each area, you will enjoy the exciting roller coasters, street shows like “Spartacus” and lots of fun. So far, the most known ride is the Magnus Colossus. With the ticket of the park, you can also access the water park with water rides based on Spain’s history, Iberia Park.

Benidorm is part of the Valencia Community and it is well known for its famous paella rice, right? While you stay in Benidorm, try their different rice recipes. Some of them are with vegetables, some others with meat, others with fish and surf and turf ones. Most people admit that these varied recipes are far more exquisite that the paella itself! The Costa Blanca boasts 15 golf courses so, if you fancy a few swings during your holidays you will always be close to one of them. For family fun, you can play a golf round at Sierra Cortina Pitch & Putt with 18 holes for short games and for beginners to learn the basics of this sport. Alte Golf Club has a driving range and a pilates studio for those who do not wish to play golf and prefer to wait revitalising mind and body.
