Virgen del Carmen and the lively Romeria are great Andalusian celebrations and finally, the Summer Feria celebrates a series of events about Saint Michael, the town’s patron saint. Strolling along the market on Thursday mornings is a regular activity for the locals. The Torremolinos Market is held every Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Fairgrounds, next to the Plaza de Toros. The stalls are full of fruit and vegetables, food, clothing, shoes, bags and accessories, home products, decoration, crafts, cosmetics and souvenirs. Once a year, on the occasion of ‘Andalusia’s Day’, a market of typical products of Malaga and Andalusian cuisine is organised. And around Christmas time, the traditional Christmas Market brings the festive spirit to town.

This Botanical Garden is definitely one of the most beautiful places in Torremolinos. It has 4 hectares of land where 500 specimens of different tree species are found, a multitude of ornamental fountains, four viewpoints and an artificial birth of a river that flows into a beautiful lake. In addition, thanks to the special microclimate of the area, several birdhouses with exotic birds have been installed.
